I’m awake ungodly so but I wanna talk about JP’s lines when you fully master his style:
“To wit, your savagery outstrips my own…[] You came to me seeking strength. A rapacious greed motivates you. I suggest you acknowledge that. You are a heretic, driven by greed, living entirely within obsessive extremes.”
And that line is funny because JP isn’t wrong (when referring the player character at least).
The objectively funniest character design thing that Daisuke Ishiwatari ever did was back in 1998 when he created two characters in his brand new fighting game series, gave them the exact same hair colour, exact same eye colour, and exact same white and blue colour scheme, and made the two of them completely unrelated
The Baiken and I-No exchanges are always the funniest
